How to Give Your Kitchen a Coffee Theme

Whether you are moving into a new home or just in the mood to redecorate, start with your kitchen and choose a coffee theme.

Coffee shops are known for being warm, inviting places where you can hang out and relax with your friends and family, so what better atmosphere to bring into your kitchen?

To get started, the first thing you want to do is decide on the colors you are going to use. Think warm hues such as caramel, burgundy, and chocolate brown.

You will also want to go through your kitchen and change any hardware that is not going to suit the new theme, such as shiny knobs and stainless steel.

Think more brushed steel, worn metals that look antique and timeless. Stick to black or rustic appliances.

You will also want to have some fun and add in a little coffee house style artwork. There are cute little signs that you can hang on the walls and you can even go freehand and draw words like "Cappuccino" and "Espresso" on the wall in cursive lettering.

Be creative, have fun, and more than anything, make sure that you keep the theme personalized, and really make it your own.
