Coffee Business Strategies

I found a terrific article the other day on coffee business strategies, on the appropriately titled Coffee Strategies blog.

The first paragraph which was what intrigued me and drew me in was written as follows:

A global economic crisis is not entirely bad, after all, is there an easier way to explain our own business failures and inadequacies without accepting personal responsibility for poor planning and management? Of course not! As the Dow Jones Industrial Average drops, the number of "the economy ate my business" stories rise. It's a proven fact.

The article goes on to speak of how many companies have been using the recent drop in the economy as the reason their business went down when there were really other matters at play.

In fact the writer, Andrew Hetzel, goes on to state his opinion that "The economic pruning of dying and dead coffee shops is a necessity that allows our industry to grow and prosper."

If you have your own coffee business and want to know how to improve it, what strategies may be helpful in your particular corporation.

Check out this and other articles on the blog, and let me know what you think.
