Caramel Macchiato Recipe

Check out this copycat Starbucks Caramel Macchiato recipe I found on one of my favorite fellow coffee blogs, Coffee Sage and just had to try out for myself.

It was absolutely delicious, one of the best café latte drinks I have ever tried, and you can whip it up yourself right at home with this easy to follow recipe.

Keep in mind that you want to use a 12 ounce mug just as Starbucks does and although the use of caramel syrup is used here, Starbucks does not include it in their drink so you can either include or disclude it as you please.

For this recipe you will need 3/4 cup steamed milk, 1 shot espresso, 1/4 ounce or 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup, caramel sauce for drizzle, along with 1/4 ounce or 1 teaspoon caramel syrup.

This mouth watering recipe takes only minutes to prepare. You need to add the vanilla syrup, caramel syrup and steamed milk into your mug, and then top with milk foam and add some freshly brewed espresso through the foam.

To finish off you drizzle over the top with your favorite caramel sauce.
